There's a Villain in My School

or

The Leer Factor

by

Tom Frye

SYNOPSIS
This is an excellent example of educational melodrama. It informs the students about what melodrama is all about and helps them through the learning process. It introduces them to the hero, heroine and villain and teaches them appropriate response to each one. It takes place in a one room school in the old west. Our teacher, Miss Goody Twoshoes has only three students, the twins Satinteena and Burlapteena and our hero, Dudley DoGood. Our poor school teacher is not able to pay her mortgage on time because her school check is delayed and our villain refuses to let her stay in her home, unless................well we know the unless. The situation gets only worse because of the terrible twins and even worse their mother Velveteena. (The mother and the twins may be played by the same actor with quick changes and great results for the audience.)
